The Builder Base version of the Glowy Lantern appeared during Chinese New Year 2019 (Year of the Pig) in February 2019. This 2×2 glowing red lantern with golden tassels is designed in the traditional Chinese lantern style, but placed uniquely on the Builder Base map rather than the Home Village. Costing 1,000 Builder Gold to clear and rewarding 75,000 Builder Elixir, it was the first CNY-exclusive obstacle to appear on the Builder Base. The community was excited to see seasonal content extend to the Builder side of the game, and it was praised as a thoughtful inclusion showing Supercell's attention to the full CoC experience.
